Meet Midas, a Russian Blue cat with a genetic abnormality that has given him four ears and a malformed jaw. Midas is well, though, and this has no impact on his hearing. The cute cat was born with five siblings in a friend’s backyard in Turkey, according to his owner Canis Dosemeci. Canis made the decision to take in the cat herself out of concern that Midas’ particular condition might make it more difficult for him to find a home.

Midas appears to be having the time of his life now that a veterinarian has determined that his condition has no negative effects on his health. Today, the kitten has more than 100K Instagram followers who enjoy following the 4-eared cat’s everyday activities.
