Moose and Goose used to be something other than joined at the hip, which is hard to imagine given how they currently look.

Their initial connection was, to put it mildly, icy.

The cats’ owners recently posted a fantastic video demonstrating how far Goose and Moose have come together since becoming friends. In the now-viral video, which was uploaded to TikTok, Moose is seen meeting her brand-new kittycat brother for the very first time while acting very grumpy about it.

Moose even hisses once in a while. Not exactly a warm welcome.

But thereafter, everything was different.
If Moose’s parents had interpreted their cat’s initial response as a sign they had adopted Goose incorrectly, their relationship may never have developed. Fortunately, they understood the need of moving slowly and followed advice from professionals on how to introduce an older cat to a new kitten.

And everything paid off.
