Dog won’t Leave his Hurt Pregnant Friend’s Side Till Aid Arrives.

A German Shepherd was discovered on the side of the road in the Californian town of Muscoy at the end of January, according to a report received by the Dream Fetchers Animal Rescue Service.

Marley the dog remained still and made no attempt to stand up.

The wait staff discovered a red dog that was fluffy next to her.

He remained with his injured companion while he waited for assistance for hours, watching the cars go by.

Marley was in critical condition, said Faith Easdale, the lifeguard who responded to the call.

She was in agony and was breathing heavily.

The dog’s survival wasn’t even a certainty to Faith.

Marley’s protector, a dog by the name of Murphy, ran after her when the rescuers attempted to put her in the car out of loyalty to his companion.

He sat down and put his head on the canine’s enormous tummy.

Marley underwent an x-ray at the veterinary facility where the dogs were transported.

In addition to a number of fractured bones, doctors discovered eleven puppies that were almost ready to be born.

Marley gave birth to a child a few days later.

She attempted to give the puppies as much attention as she could despite the ongoing agony in her paws, and Murphy was around all the while.

The dog needed about two years to recover.

Marley was able to make a full recovery with the support of the foster family’s care and medical assistance.

Her new owners gushed, “She is exactly as sweet and gorgeous as the day we first brought her home.” Marley bounces and plays as if she’s never broken anything.

Murphy’s buddy and protector Dream Fetchers saw to it that he also got a new place to live and a family that would value his loyalty and fidelity.
