Cat Becomes the Lonely Truck Driver’s Co-Pilot on the Road After Being Adopted.

But when he’s following on a long road, solitude frequently gets in the way.
It’s not easy to stay awake while traveling alone at night, let’s face it, but Paul won’t be stopped, especially if he has a deadline to meet.
He had a cat named Howie who accompanied him on his journeys back and forth.
They traveled together for numerous hours and were great friends for many years. Howie tragically passed away in 2017.
Anyone who has ever owned a pet can attest to the difficulty of moving on after losing a pet. No one, not even Paul, is exempt from this awful event. When he lost his cherished cat, he was incredibly heartbroken.
However, that didn’t really deter him from longing for another animal friend. He instantly spotted an animal refuge and started searching for another cat. There, he met a ginger cat by the name of Percy.
Paul wanted Percy despite all of his imperfections.
He realized right then and there that they would be the ideal match right away.
In the end, Percy had a difficult life. Before being saved, he was a homeless person. The former stray cat nevertheless kept a positive outlook on life despite everything. He continued to be kind and gentle with people.
Paul instantly adopted Percy as his “purrfect” co-pilot on his lengthy journeys, and the cat couldn’t be more content. The adorable cat was there to travel with his new human father and loved everything—long or brief journeys, rain or shine.
Paul wrote on Facebook, “He’s really friendly and loves to climb on my lap, up my breast, and then rub cheeks with me.
He enjoys playing. He purrs a lot. He loves to eat and sleep since, of course, he is a cat.
Paul shared photos of his feline pal on his social media accounts frequently because he enjoyed snapping them. It didn’t take Percy long to amass a sizable online following, and they all like his unforced charisma.
Unlucky thing happened.
When Paul woke up in the early hours of February 2017 he noticed that the passenger window was open. He immediately thought of Percy, who was subsequently nowhere to be seen.

He had experienced precisely the same thing in the past, usually when a bird was outside. But things were different then.
Paul tried phoning him and also looked around the vicinity of the rest break. Sadly, despite his best efforts, no Percy emerged.
The weather prediction for that day indicated that a storm was on its way, which only made matters worse.

Paul announced that Percy was missing on social media after realizing that he had run out of alternatives and needed assistance from the public.
Despite assistance from others in his hunt, Paul simply couldn’t hold out any longer.
